Course in 8-Session Modules. Postures as part of a holistic program. Living your yoga on & off the mat. In Yoga, the postures (asana) are merely a gateway awareness of Divine presence – a way to prepare body & mind for meditation. Learn how yoga can be infused into every breath, thought, word & action of your life in mindful awareness.
10-Session Yoga Course. Choice, Rest, Environment, Activity, Trust in God, Interpersonal Relationship, Outlook, Nutrition. This yoga course follows this holistically healthy paradigm for wellness.
12-Session Yoga Course. The 12 Power Thoughts are miraculous affirmations for motivation, confidence, kindness, discernment, and living a life immersed in the love of God. Kristen can help you embody these ideas so they are transformed from mental constructs to embodied experience.
13-session Yoga Course. The 12-Steps have been a program for recovery from life’s plethura of dis-ease since it was widely introduced to hopeless alcoholics in 1935. It is a simple spiritual progam for complicated people from all walks of life. H.O.W. it works is simply with Honesty, Openmindedness & Willingness.
2-3 Hours. Join together with a spouse, friend or family member in mutual support & equanimity. Experience playful peace together while you have the literal experience of someone having your back.
2-hour Workshop or Multi-Session Course. Anyone can practice yoga! Period. This Course or Workshop is an opportunity to learn how to utilize a chair or FeetUp® Trainer to experience how yoga meets you where you are. Experience supported, intentional movement & conscious attention to breath as a path to deeper love, joy & peace in your life.
2-3 hours. The sun salutations are a foundational part of many yoga practices. Unfortunately, these movements are not appropriate for every body in the common way they are cued. You will learn how to practice this flowing sequence specifically for the body you are in. You may need to practice a different version of a posture, substitute a similar posture for another, or use props for part or all of this sequence.
Props are our friends! The fullest expression of a posture is the healthiest one for the body that you are in this moment. These are common statements in my classes, yet, it is easy to continue to try to compare & conform. In this course you will learn the myriad of versions of each basic posture, and how to customize the posture with variations or props specifically for the body you are in. Let yoga meet you where you are today!
